The study showed that there is a mutual relationship between healthy sleep patterns and heart failure. Researchers recorded data that men are having more of this problem because they generally overthink and make it a big problem but it is very controllable thing it only depends on how you train your mind to do a particular task. The study was published in the American Heart Association's flagship journal Circulation. "The healthy sleep score which was created is based on the scoring five sleep behaviors," said by Lu Qi, M.D., Ph.D., corresponding author and professor of epidemiology and director of the Obesity Research Center at Tulane University in New Orleans. "Our findings highlight the importance of improving overall sleep patterns to help prevent heart failure."

The study was divided into different levels, which are as follows:

  • Short, or less than 7 hours a day
  • Recommended, or 7 to 8 hours a day
  • Prolonged, or 9 hours or more a day.

With the healthiest sleep pattern there is improvement in many diseases like diabetes, hypertension, medication use, genetic variations and other covariates. It is been observed that the participants having a healthy sleep pattern had a 42% reduction in the risk of heart failure compared to people with an unhealthy sleep pattern. Unhealthy sleep habits can make your lifestyle worst and you may feel a lot of problem coming in front of you, and thinking abilities can also get low when you follow wrong pattern of sleeps. Healthy sleep habits can help to grow a better memory. They also found the risk of heart failure was independently associated and: 8% lower in early risers; 12% lower in those who slept 7 to 8 hours daily; 17% lower in those who did not have frequent insomnia; and 34% lower in those reporting no daytime sleepiness.
